This study was conducted with information systems corpo- rate users from multiple organizations, and most re- spondents worked in information technology, which can limit the generalization of conclusions. The sample size was another limitation of this research. The participation index was 12%. In addition, this research was a cross-sectional study, that is, the data analysis was based on one single moment. This limitation is of importance in studies that evaluate user satisfaction because expectation, one of the variables in the expectation disconfirmation theory, cannot be evaluated.
Future work can apply this research instrument to a single company to evaluate how variables relate and analyze the data gathered. This research instrument can also be applied to larger samples, which will allow a more accurate study of the effects among model constructs.
