Staging allows issue allocation to be performed more frequently limiting the size of the complete transmission. Staging can be processed when desired to complete the issue allocation.
When the issue allocation processing is run with the Staging check box selected, the individual transactions are stored for processing later. When the staging transmission process is run, the transmissions that are selected from the query are concatenated to build the full transmission and the transmission is sent to the destination.
Staging transmission processing is accessed via Business Process Automation > Process Management > Staging Transmission Processing.
Select a transmission direction of "all" or "outbound".
If you have saved a query to select transmissions currently set to "staging," enter it in the Saved Query for Transmission field.
If you do not enter any criteria, all transmissions are processed.
Optionally, select the Receiving external system for receiving.
Optionally, select the notify method from the corresponding list box.
Optionally, enter the number of outbound staging transmissions to constrain. For example, if you only want to process 20 transmissions at a time, you should enter the number 20 in this field.
Select when you want the processing to occur. This process can be run immediately or scheduled. When scheduled, you can specify the day and time to run it, as well as the frequency of which you want it run.
Click Submit.
Inbound
Inbound transmissions can be set to the staging status. When they are in staging status, they can still be modified and updated by other incoming transmissions. You may move the transmissions out of the staging status so that they can be processed by using the Staging Transmission Processing page.
