Based on the results obtained here it is concluded that deficient
supply of S produced symptoms characteristic of S deficiency and
induced oxidative stress in mulberry plants, however, low Fe andCu
concentrations, and increased activities of SOD, APX, and POD minimized
oxidative challenge and protected S-deficient plants from
oxidative damage (lipid peroxidation) despite significant increase
in the accumulation of H2O2 in these plants.
