n conclusion, The Hound of the Baskervilles was a well plotted and suspenseful story. Sherlock Holmes was in top form (despite being thwarted at the beginning) ;and his friend, Dr. Watson, ever his loyal companion, friend and student, made for an interesting narrator. I’ve achieved one of my reading goals in completing three stories from the Holmes canon. All three stories were great and will continue to entertain readers for years to come.
