In our effort of continue strengthening the WWPE organization, we are pleased to make these job promotion announcement.


1) The promotion of See Siew Kiong to Director of WW PE

SK See has been with Western Digital for 10 years in 2 separate stints, during which time he has held positions in NPI, Sustaining Program Management, Product Cost Management, Product Engineering and lately Strategic Project Management. Many of his team members have benefited from his coaching and guidance on critical thinking and strategy planning. Recently, he has worked with the WWPE leadership team on the organization integration work and contributed a lot. He has demonstrated his great potential and capabilities. Going forward, he will spend more time on the project management jobs which have more cross organizational tasks as well as to work as Ogasawara-san’s direct report staff. We believe he will live up to the expectations just like how he has done it.

2) The promotion of Tanaat Chayarangkan to Director of Client PE
Tanaat has been with Western Digital for more than 15 years. He has started his WD career as PE manager. His career has been growth together with WD Asia from the pure manufacturing support, through multiple technologies transformation, through floods in Thailand, and to its current development support capable. Tanaat has been leading the team through all these challenges, and consistently improve their skill sets and engineering capabilities. His background in engineering gives him an overall understanding of how to improve overall operation excellences, and his ability to motivate his team has led to his continued success in WD.

3) The promotion of Mahyudean Dadeh to Director of Sustaining RSS

Mahyudean Dadeh (Abear) has been with Hitachi/HGST/Western Digital for more than 12 years. He started his HDD career as a component integration engineer at Prachinburi. He has continued to develop his outstanding skill and capabilities at various stages of interaction with Fujisawa/US development team. During these times, he has nurtured many young talents and built a strong and skillful team in the factory. Many of his team members have benefited from his coaching and guidance on critical problem solving. Now, under this new role of channel integration director in sustaining RSS (sRSS) function, Mahyudean will further integrate, consolidate and optimize engineering resource for supporting preamp/channel FA, test algorithms, and channel FW coding. His team is expected to co-own part of RSS FW development responsibilities in a consolidated CCB platform as well as Arch-6 products in the near future.
