Scoliosis screening
Adam's forward bending test is the best test for early diagnosis of scoliosis, a disease which causes body deformation and severe cardiopulmonary complications when left untreated. Children were asked to bend forward up to a 90-degree hip flexion with feet together, knees fully extended, arms dangling, and palms facing each other. This screening could detect rotational protrusion or asymmetry due to deformity of ribs caused by scoliotic spine
