he showers are pathetic: some warm water at a dribble rate. Any attempt to get a decent flow rate of water resulted in cold water! The breakfast staff are silent, sullen and not well versed in serving hotel guests, and I am NOT fussy. The breakfast menu is extremely limited in choice and quantity. I thought that the five tiny pieces of bread which went with 1.5 cubic centimetres of butter and two half-teaspoons of jam expressed the extreme parsimonious attitude of the hotel manager/owner. This attitude was well expressed in the breakfast menu where it clearly stated that a refill of tea or coffee is "FREE OF CHARGE". The tea that they serve comes from a metal jug of about one litre and has ONE teabag. The result is tea that tastes like used dishwater. I had to buy my own teabags and insist that hot water is used to pre-heat the cup before proceeding to make a cup of tea. I compared my hotel with those of other overseas visitors that I met and I found that some hotels charged $20 (US) per night for good hot showers and a generous breakfast. I suggest that you inform the hotel management that I cannot recommend the Saynamkhan hotel.
