Piper betle leaves (local varieties Bagerhati, Ghanagete
and Kauri) were collected from Howrah. The teas
prepared from the dried leaves were made by boiling in
distilled water for 5 min and were used for analysing
antioxidant activity in vitro. Each experiment was repeated
five times. For comparison tea leaves (CTC
HGH) were used.
