The structure of the framework is as illustrated in Fig. 7. A process case is chosen to be a concrete target. It defines the actors who are as a subject of the interview. The interviewee’s relation to the process case is interpreted as an instance of The Basic Modeling Situation. The Basic Modeling Situation (BMS), The Process Ontological Model (POM) and the evolutional features of the process form the basis on which the question patterns are formed. From POM we derive general basic questions which orientate us to the modeling situation. The assessable evolution features of a process form the basis on which the evolution related questions are formed. Based on the Process Ontological Model (POM), we take the mental abstraction level to the starting point. This means concentration to people involved and how they interpret the evolution state of the process. The set of basic questions can be completed by domain specific questions. Here the relations between POM’s conceptual, actual mental and actual physical levels can be used to formulate more concrete questions.
