Important:
• Avoidance is the only way for food-allergic individuals to prevent a reaction
• An allergic guest may ask you about a food ingredient
• In all cases without exception, immediately inform your Supervisor about the inquiry
• They will provide an appropriate response to the at risk guest
• Even if you think you know the answer to their question, or think you can get the answer by reading a food label, always let the Supervisor handle the situation
• An incorrect or incomplete answer can put the diner at serious risk
