Grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.) phenolics are constituted basically
by the flavan-3-ols (+)-catechin (C), ()-epicatechin (EC) and ()-
epicatechin-3-O-gallate (ECG), their polymeric forms, known as
procyanidins and some minor hydroxybenzoic acids, such as gallic
and protocatechuic acids
