Ban Mae Pan Moo 13 was under the administration of Mueang Long. The first village headman was Mr. Luang Pinkhai who had ruled the village from 2435-2465. Due to the difficulties of transportation, Luang Pho Bunyen Thanthammo and the villagers joined together to build a bridge across the Yom River, making it more convenient to get to Mueang Long. In 2533 B.E., the villages were later carved out of Mueang Long and were established under the new administration of Tambon Mae Pan. Mr. Prasut Saengsoi was the first kamnan of Tambon Mae Pan. It comprises 7 villages (Muban).
