This is a plan, which underlines step-by-step, how-to-do-it, each crisis is unique, with varying levels of threat and impact. However, this plan will provide vital information to ensure a timely and effective response. The Crisis Management Team will use this information to increase confidence in its ability to manage a crisis in an appropriate manner as and when necessary. Whatever the crisis, members of the Crisis Management team must be honest, candid and flexible; they must combine a sense of urgency with sensitivity and a large measure of common sense.
The Purpose of this manual is to describe essential preparations and effective management of Crisis / Emergency. In particular a checklist of follow-ups and solutions is presented that covers the eventuality that the hotel faces an Emergency / Crisis such as a Tsunami, Fire or very bad weather conditions.
