Bioconcentration of APAP in M. hiemalis was on average 17+9 fold after 24 h and 43+1 fold after 48 h of exposure to 30 ng/mL APAP (Table 2). The increasing BCFs, indicate that a steady state had not yet been reached after 48 h and therefore active uptake could still continue after the
tested period.
