while those at the control station showed
only 4- to 51-fold increase. The range and mean±SD values of SGR
during the 238 day culture period were 1.3 to 2.5% and 1.9±0.3%
(n=46) for the fish farm stations, and 0.6 to 1.6% and 1.2±0.3% for
the control station (n=44). There was a significant difference in SGR
between the fish farm and control stations (paired t-test, Pb0.001).
