To date there are only few recommendations for chemicals to
control Rhizopus rot of jackfruit. Most of them reported that 53%
copper hydroxide, Bordeaux mixture (0.5%), copper oxychloride
(0.2%) and 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline (DCNA) 75 WP are used to
control this fungal pathogen (Azad, 2000; Ghosh, 1994;
McMillan, 1974) but none of these applications were found very
effective
