Fromtheworkreviewedinthisstudy,itcanbeconcludedthat
CAWTsareapromisingwayofincreasingthepoweroutputinlow
wind speedareas.However,theavailableinformationonhowthey
workisstillveryscant.Itisimportanttosolvetheproblemof
receivingwindfromonedirectionanddeveloppoweroutput
models thattakeintoaccountthefactthatwindturbinesoperate
in unsteady flow conditionsmostofthetime.Thiswouldbeuseful
in designingCAWTssystems.Thereisstillneedtounderstand
various flow featuresthatmaybepresentinthesystemsuchas
turbulence, eddys,veerandwakeeffectsandtheirinfluence on
poweroutputsothatthiscanbeincorporatedintothepower
output model.
