As can be
seen in Fig. 7, the intensity of E2 (high) increases with the growth
temperature and Mg dopant concentration, which indicates that
the crystal quality of the Zn1xMgxO nanomaterials is improved
with the increase of growth temperature, and the Mg dopants do
not affect crystal quality of ZnO nanomaterials. From Fig. 7, it can
also be found that the peaks at 382 and 411 cm1 attributed to
A1 (TO) and E1 (TO) in ZnO are exhibited in the hemispheric shells
at 900 C and chain-like nanosheets at 1000 C, but they can not be
detected in nanoparticles at 750 C and nanowire-on-spherical
shells at 850 C, which may be due to the improved crystal quality
of the Zn1xMgxO nanomaterials at the higher growth temperature
than 850 C.
