Before Day 1
Manager want to delight their customers,how could the customer be happy ,be comfortable after using their service.This paragraph is the opinion of a server after he take the training and do the work.
1.I have stayed in the Ritz for 2 days about the introduction of the hotel and 2days under under his tutor doing the service.
2.My tutor is Stephen Posner , a experienced room-service waiter in the hotel.
3.I get a test about delivering a dinner order. That is a light meal for two person.The menu is a cheese-burger,a salad, a beer ,a bottle of mineral water.
4.During the test I felt serious.My brow furrowed. Stephen Posner told him”feel out the gusts and try to match their mood” .The gusts is a woman she know i am doing a test ,she tried to make me relax.The writer only focus on the task.He stood there ,loose his jaw,put his hands behind his back, but almost forget to explain what they have prepared for the them.After Stephen’s remind he began to explain.And after leaving of the house that the writer think about that he forget to pen the Heineken(it’s a kind of wine).

5. It’s important for the senior executive to be a part of the operation that they will know more about how to satisfy the demand of the customs.
It’s easy for senior executive to talk about how to get close to the customers,anticipate their needs,exceeding their expectations.But how many of the senior executive do the work,experience it ?And what about the theory used into practice? Does it work or not. This is very important particularly for a company’s obsessive commitment to customer service.They can learn from see the operation,but if they can be a part of the operation ,they will know more.
6. I stay in the Ritz-Carlton/Boston Common Hotel for 7 days. The 7 days i do is ----getting trained and work as a room-service waiter.
7. The Ritz-Carlton/Boston Common Hotel it’s famous for customer service,and it take training seriously.The institute of the hotel give training to many other kinds of industries company. I can get to training and work without problems,but i don’t get the money from work in the hotel. The 7 days not enough for experience the job. During the time i haven’t met any rude guests and unusually demand.But i know the service theory of the hotel form the first 2 days,and know the challenges of the employee face in trying to deliver the first class customer service.
8. The original Ritz-Carlton is in the rich area.It is opposite to The Ritz-Carlton hotel now i worked .It is in a place that not rich,with clubs.That is the drawback,but they can also give their customer flawless service ,that is the advantage and important of a hotel.
So it is useful to write about how to improve the employee-customer interaction in any business.And i get some life lessons.for example the finest bottle of wine,mineral water.
