The data was analyzed using
the general linear model procedure in SAS (SAS Institute
Inc., Cary, NC). Contrast statements were used
to compare the nutrient comparisons between brown
egg strains, white egg strains, brown and white eggs,
and within the white egg strains molted and nonmolted
(Table 1). The nutrient analyses in this study were not
significantly different between laboratories, and as such
the analysis were based on the treatment means for
the nutrients of interest. The least squares means that
were significantly different were separated using contrast
statistic P-value.
