1) Prevent exposure. The COSHH Regulations require the Company to prevent exposure to substances hazardous to health, if it is reasonably practicable to do so. The Company might:
• change the process or activity so that the hazardous substance is not needed or generated;
• replace it with a safer alternative;
• use it in a safer form, e.g. pellets instead of powder.
