In this study, the microstructural evolution and changes to the
mechanical properties of a 20% cold worked 316 stainless steel
(CW 316 SS) was characterized by transmission electron microscopy
(TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and nanoindentation after single
Xe-ion beam irradiation at room temperature up to 3.7 dpa. The
