After about 14–16 h, supersaturation decreased much more rapidly for the two larger seed sizes of 155 and 220 lm (Fig. 5a) resulting in more rapid rates of dextrose consumption. The particle counts data in Fig. 5b shows that the counts for these two larger seed sizes are somewhat similar and much higher than that obtained for the smallest seed size of 125 lm.
