The authors
reported the amount of about 19 mg of betacyanins/100 g of fresh
pulp, lower than 23.03 mg of betanin/100 g of xoconostle endocarp
(pulp) reported in this research .Recently Guzmán-Maldonado et al.
(2010) reported a pigment composition of betacyanins and betaxanthins
for O. matudae, other xoconostle variety.
