From the perspective of wetland ecological principles
and scientific methodology, the above-mentioned ecological
and hydrological issues are inseparable, like two sides
of a coin, and any research separating the two will reach a
dead end. Regional wetland ecological issues are closely
associated with regional hydrological issues.
Wetland
ecohydrology adopts a systematic and scientific thinking
and technology integration methodology instead of the
isolated single discipline methodology. Thus a more
comprehensive discipline can solve problems of sustainable
regional development.
