Acquiring strong brand name will be an advantage for the company in terms of their corporate image especially in the Halal food industry. They gain higher chances in consumers’ choice preference in their decision making process in the food industry. This is in line with Flavia´n, Guinalı´u and Torres (2005) where they mentioned that company image have the influence on consumers’ trust on the company’s products or services offered. Consumers’ trust is crucial in the halal industry especially for Muslims consumers as they are adhered to the laws of their religion.
