In Section 2 we discuss related work, namely recommendation applications for software engineering,
and Section 3 outlines our novel knowledge model for software estimation techniques.
Notably, our model takes the cone of uncertainty into account and thus reflects the accuracy of the different estimation methods at various stages of software development.
Section 4 presents our pilot application and its user interface.
Moreover, we report on a survey about the proposed interaction flow,
the results obtained and the underlying hypotheses.
Finally, Section 6 concludes our
paper.
