The remains of two more gaur were found yesterday in Kui Buri National Park in Prachuap Khiri khan,the latest in a spate of gaur deaths in the area.
Kui Buri district chief Pongpan Wichiensamut said park officals found the skeletons of the two gaur while conducting a field study to check the nomber of remaining animals in the park.
Mr Pongpan said so far a total of 22 gaur carcasses have been found in the park since early December.
Mr Pongpon said authorities believe the dead animals all belonged to the same herd.
he said he suspected they were either poisond or killed by disease.
