Later Stage Investment Project Financing
Debt financing is a central financing resource and the classic supplement to equity financing in Germany. It is available to established companies with a continuous cash flow. Loans can be borrowed for day-to-day business (working capital loans), can help bridge temporary financial gaps (bridge loans) or finance long-term investments (investment loans). Be- sides offers from commercial banks, investors can access publicly subsi- dized loan programs in Germany. These programs usually offer loans at attractive interest rates in com- bination with repayment-free start- up years, in particular for small and medium-sized companies. These loans are provided by the state- owned KfW development bank and also by regional development banks.
