The outcome of the study supported some previous nursing research findings that nursing workload was the most frequent stress, and the Planful Problem Solving method was used the most and Escape Avoidance was used the least to mitigate their stress .In addition, study results demonstrated that the nursing stress Sale (NSS) was positively and significantly correlated with the Perceived stress Scale (Pss) despite their differences in content. The findings also demonstrate that perceived stress was significantly and positively associated with nurses' diabetes risk score (RS) ,and those experiencing higher stress levels who used Escape -Avoidance and Distancing coping processes were significantly and positively associated with nurses' diabetes Rs. The interaction effect between stress and using the Distancing coping method significantly and positively predicted nurses' diabetes RS, and the interaction between stress and Positive Reappraisal significantly and negatively predicted nurses' diabetes RS. Most of all, the outcome of the study confirmed a significant positive association between nurses' perceived stress and their diabetes RS.
