Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 show the storage modulus at a function of frequency and the moduli at a frequency of 9 rad s−1, respectively. As expected, the storage modulus or elastic response of the material increased with the frequency. As described earlier, this is related to shorter time for molecular relaxation. At a given frequency, such as 9 rad s−1, the storage modulus increased with increasing loading of the compatibilizer and the maximum value at a loading of 5 wt% of HDPE compatibilizer was obtained.
