At present, infrastructures have begun to deteriorate for various reasons such as corrosion, prestress losses, and high traffic volume. For example, in Thailand, the traffic volume is increasing by around 7% every year. This causes structural loss of load capacity and affects the stability of the structure, including creating a feeling of insecurity for the user. The main issue is that the residual capacity of those deteriorated infrastructures remains unknown. In this sense, I am interested in innovative quality assessment of cement-based. Developing technology for high-quality assessments will help assess infrastructure problems to plan and prioritize structural damage to determine systematic maintenance. Then, the structural reconstruction and maintenance considered environmental effects to promote quality of life. Moreover, structural durability and strengthening must be conducted with innovative technology for the safety and sustainability of social infrastructure.
