The developed flight planning software uses
these parameters to compute a full flight plan consisting of the
waypointswhere the quadrocopter takes along its flight path the photos
automatically. The file format that stores the flight plan is .WPL. Asmentioned
before, up to 100 waypoints can be entered in a user-interface
with very little manual effort. The developed interface allows the user
to click on a satellite map to define the area of interest with a polygon.
Based on a preset resolution, an optimized flight path is automatically
generated.
