To create circuits the user must first retrieve the desired components from the parts-bin (Figure 4). The parts-bin contains a library of the available components; resistors,
capacitors, MOSFETs, and Op-Amps. The user double clicks on the desired component and it is placed in the workstation window, off to the side of the breadboard. It is important to note that when a passive component is created, either a resistor or a capacitor, its actual value will be determined at random and will lie within its specified tolerance. In order to determine the actual value of a component it must be measured with the part-inspector. Once a component has been created it can then be labeled, measured, deleted, rotated or moved to any position
on the breadboard. At any time the user may inspect the components that have been retrieved from the parts-bin. To inspect a component the user simply right-clicks on the desired component. A menu then appears that lists the properties associated with that component and the options that are available. An example of a component being inspected is shown in Figure 5.
