Dear Mr Hsu,
We have received a customer feedback as follows (with only can code):
‘On the 27th of May 2015, I opened a can of Mili lychee to consume. Upon opening the can, I noticed a white paste inside the can. I did not take too much of notice to that and proceed to pour all the lychee into the bowl. I consumed the first lychee and noticed that the taste is a bit funny and what's worst is the second lychee. I immediately spit it out, and the taste is horrible. I thought that the lychee has gone bad and decided to throw all away but as my bowl is white I found out that's a greyish patch in the bowl. When I touch it and bring it to smell, from my previous job I know what is the paste. Industrial grease to lubricate machines moving parts. I really have no idea how the hell the grease can get into the lychee and worst is for people to consume. If I were to fall sick in the next 1-2 days time, prepared to receive my medical bills.’
Please investigate based on the above description and batch code (as attached can lid).
Kindly acknowledge upon receipt of this email. Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Eric Chan (Ext: 004)
