Import Cargo Possible Complaint from Cnees:
1 Some POL Agency delay Freight Inputting in TS System causes to double working on Import Documentation.
Request POL Agency to complete Data Input in TS system after 2 days of vessel departure and lock the system.
2 Incorrect and Incomplete Cnee’s contact details causes to unable to inform/contact before vessel arrival.
Request POL Agency to inform shippers more careful when giving Cnee Address and contact details so that to ensure
quick approaching and updating Cnee for their coming cargo.
3 POD/Discharge and POD/Destination input in TS and B/L are always unmatched and incorrect cause cargo be delivered to wrong final Destination in Bkk.
Request POL Agency to pay high attention. Since there is many POD/Delivery , POD/Destination Points in Thailand and the correct POD must be submitted to each Final POD Customs Office before vessel arrival. Once submitted, we cannot amend and changed and cnee must go to that at POD Points to take delivery their cargo.
4 When POL releases cntr to Shipper, there is no record of cntr conditions before stuffing cargo. When cntr arrived at Thailand, Cnee always reject to pay cntr repair charges and insist the damage was incurred at POL.
Request POL Agency pay high attention to their VIP customers. If possible, all empties before releasing to Shipper at Loading port, should be taken photo and send them to BKK before vessel arrival. This could be a reference to talk to ECC.
5 Import cargo from China mostly are Steel, Mosaic Tile, Zinc/Aluminium Ingot, Steel scrap, Carbon Black, Loose Auto Part, while our Export cargo are Sugar, Rice, Tapioca Flour, Highgrade Resin. This has caused high repair & cntr upgrade charges incurred in Thailand.
Of course, we cannot select cargo but this could not help reducing cntr repair/upgrade charges as long as our main export cargo are Sugar, Rice, Tapioca Flour, Highgrade Resin etc.
