Broader range of responsibilities; exercises more independence in day-to-day operations. Individuals would generally support a senior manager, function or group. Duties would normally require in-depth knowledge of one or more software products or specialized knowledge of a particular administrative function or area. May be responsible for assigning tasks to or overseeing the work of individuals at lower levels.
Specialized training and education are generally required. In addition to Level III requirements and responsibilities, individuals at this level have a comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures and processes and function with a fair degree of independence. Duties may involve providing support to senior level executives, or serving as the lead support individual for large complete projects or operations.
