Description of station
Traveling walls on "Avtozavodskaya" are revetted with baladinsky marble. The arch of the station hall is supported by two rows of thin columns of square section from reinforced concrete. Columns are covered with marble of ocherous color, and at the basis they are trimmed by black diabase. Luminescent lamps light station.

The main subject of registration of "Avtozavodskaya" – protection of the Homeland and heroic work of the people during war. So, on traveling walls eight mosaic panels on subjects are placed: "The Soviet people in days of the Great Patriotic War" and "Employees of ZIS plant (now ZIL)".
Except mosaics, the station is decorated by four bas-reliefs made of gray-yellow limestone. Their names – "Metallurgists and engineers", "Pilots and designers", "Peoples of the North" and "the People of the Caucasus".
