The goal of this work was to investigate the repellency of some
essential oils extracted from four plants of the Mediterranean flora –
bay laurel (Laurus nobilis L.), bergamot (Citrus bergamia Risso and
Poit), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Miller var. dulcis) and lavandin
(Lavandula hybrida Rev.) – tested on some common pests of stored
products, Sitophilus zeamais Motschulsky (Coleoptera: Curculionidae),
Cryptolestes ferrugineus (Stephens) (Coleoptera: Cucujidae)
and Tenebrio molitor (L.) (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae).
