Effects of predator size were studied using four size classes, 9.26±0.20, 14.2±1.2, 18±1.0 and
22±0.6 body length. Separate experiments were run with males and females, to test for effects of
sex, and in light and dark conditions to test for the possible visual character of the predation act. Measurements were done according to the nondestructive method of De Walsche & Dumont (1991).
