were log-normally distributed within 0 and 5.85 m1 (median
0.086 m1): areas with kd exceeding 0.25 m1 (90th percentile of
this spatial distribution) were considered non suitable for cage
deployment because representative of river discharge or resuspension due to waves. This threshold has been set arbitrarily to
0.25 m1 (this value means the solar light being attenuated by 90%
at a depth of 1/kd, here 4 m).
