. Different from these studies, in our study, the
effects of exercise programs on the walking speed were inspected
and it was determined thatthe walking speed in the late-phase after
the surgery was higher in the patients in the weighted exercise
program than the patients in the non-weighted exercise program.
This outcome is important because it shows that the weighted
strengthtraining programusedinthe present studymay be effective
in improving the walking speed of patients with TKA
