Disease incidence in the treatment in which T. harzianum was
the sole biological control amendment did not differ significantly
from the control treatment in which T. harzianum was absent
(Table 2). Similarly, days to permanent wilting did not differ
significantly between these treatments. In contrast, inoculation
with G. clarum resulted in significantly lower disease incidence and
longer periods of time to permanent wilting than the control
without G. clarum. Furthermore, combination of T. harzianum and
G. clarumwas not better than G. clarum alone in controlling S. rolfsii
as indicated by no significant difference between the treatments for
days to permanent wilting, and the treatment also had higher
disease incidence, regardless of plant genotype (Table 2).
