(S.E.) age of males in this study was 53.3 (0.2) years. Among 1851
Korean males, 347 (18.4%) had COPD. BMI, education level, income
level, FEV1p, and FEV1/FVC had an inverse relationship to blood
cadmium quartile groups in Korean males (Table 1). Conversely,
age, current tobacco use, smoking pack-years, urinary cotinine
levels, and COPD prevalence increased with increasing blood
cadmium quartile groups in Korean males.
