So in the ‘Our Bonnyrigg Dream’ workshop in Sydney in 2005,
participants (130 of them – all local residents) lined up to show how
long they had lived in the neighbourhood. We placed signs on the
walls of this huge gymnasium. And with their bodies, the residents
showed when they arrived – from the early 1970s and onward or
whether they were new to the area. Then we asked them where
their heart was. We had placed a large coloured representation of
Bonnyrigg (a huge circle) in the centre of the room and signs on the
walls for all the Earth’s continents. Then we asked where they lived,
where they came from, where they had lived before they arrived and,
