2. Objectives
The objectives of the first awareness building activity are as follows:
a) To build up awareness and encourage for the adoption of ICS to a wider group of household cooking stove users in T. Wieng Nua and T. Pha Bong;
b) To build up capacity of 39 local ICS volunteers and the incoming users of these 2 sub-districts as ICS promoters;
c) To provide technical assistance (TA) to local stove producer on quality control, value chain development and marketing; and
d) To create market linkage between local stove producer in Chiang Mai to MHS potential consumers.
