DRIVING RESULTS: The forum aims to raise issues of changes, challenges and responsibility
as we pursue higher level of integration of the credit union networks in Asia. Having created
awareness among leaders at the 2014 forum in Bali and in-country dissemination, the 2015 forum
attempts to stage a ‘no holds barred’ dialogues on the changes expected to occur following the
decision to integrate. Thus, the three breakout sessions are set around the changes required on
Systems, People and Accountability. The forum format is designed to allow interaction of participants
with the panel of resource persons.
Integration would mean credit unions giving mandate to their federation to manage the performance
of the network. Among others, the federation will then assume supervision, standardization,
certifi cation of fi t and proper persons in governance, pooling of resources, and shared technology
