Staffing. Banquet stff should be professionally trained and experienced. Larger events commonly call upon casual pools of la bour or a local student population.
Smoking policy. In parts of Asia, non –smoking legislation or enforcement may not be in place for venues.
Food safety. Food poisoning can suddenly put the event in jeopardy, with guests falling ill and perhaps needing medical care.
Stock cntrol. With larger catering events, this can mean a lot of food and drink stock in circulation for some time.
Drink Policy. Alcohol is not permitted or only standard pouring drinks are agreed u pon. A guest may insist on anothdrink not previously arranged.
Cut off itimes. Caterring may have a fixed charge for a reception for two hours. However, should the time exceed this, arrangements should be clear on whether the charges go to the event organiser.
