Due to the rapid nature of your departure, I feel that it is safe to assume that there was an element of dissatisfaction or discomfort with your school placement and/or living accommodations. The purpose of this email is not to chastise you for leaving our program or to pry into your personal matters, but rather, is sent with the intent to garner feedback about our program and your specific school placement so that we may better the experience for future volunteers. While it is extremely unfortunate that you experienced discomfort with your school or housing arrangements I would greatly appreciate it if you could reply to this email stating the specific roots of your displeasure so that I may ensure that these are properly noted and addressed. All feedback, even the unfortunate negative feedback that we receive from volunteers, is extremely valuable in ensuring the continuous development and improvement of the volunteer program. Simply put, we cannot fix a problem if we do not know what the cause of the problem is. So while I understand that you may have had a negative experience in volunteering with our program, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with an understanding of your displeasure so that we can ensure a more positive volunteer experience for all. It is with the utmost sincerity that I thank you for the time you have devoted to the ICCVTT, and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
