Some people believe that the government should require alcoholic beverages manufacturing companies to present health warning pictures and messages on the beverage containers to illustrate the disadvantages or dangers of alcohol. Such warning must cover no less than ¼ of the label, both on the bottles and boxes. One of the proposed warning labels is a picture of a motorcycle accident and the message saying “drunk driving can lead to disability or death,” together with the phone number of the Cigarette and Alcohol Complaint Center 0-2590-3342 , hotline number 1422. The purposes of this policy are to remind drinkers about the impacts of alcohol, to deter people from drinking, and to reduce the impact of alcohol on the society as a whole.
